ComXchange is connecting the 242-room Hotel Harrington in Washington, DC. The same family has owned and operated the hotel since 1914. Today, there are two on-site full-service restaurants and a connected bar, an underground parking garage, gift shop and a laundromat. The first hotel in DC to install air conditioning in 1938, and with 12 stories, the Harrington was the ideal location for the city’s first TV station and transmission tower. W3XWT (now known as Fox Channel 5) set up shop on the upper floors and in 1946 began broadcasting.
